Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina
Garnish Real Estate for a unpaid I.O.U.
A person owes me $35,000 through a simple, non witnessed, unsecured I.O.U.
Can I have his real property(house) attached to sell at auction to collect?

No. You can sue him, win your case, get a judgment, and then begin execution procedures.
