Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Inherited house from dead adopted parents. Their birth children have harassed me to make me leave. Even offering money. I was starting to be threatened by them about losing it all if I dont survey the land. They offered to buy the house from me. I sent a text message saying for him to call me because I was going to take it. He screen shot it and said he used it to get my name off the deed. I signed nothing. I'm being told that text was used as legal consent from me.

A text cannot be used as consent for someone to forge your name on a deed.
