If a man owns real estate and then marries a woman, does the woman automatically become an owner of his property?

No. As far as the deed is concerned the husband is the only owner of the property. AS far as family law is concerned, if the parties divorced and an equitable distribution action is filed, the Court could divide the equity of the property between the parties.
