I do not understand what you are asking. What kind of taxes? What kind of business is he running? It will be his responsiblity to pay any taxes asssociated with his business, but I don't know what he does. If he is just offering a service, there will be no tax on that. If he has an LLC or if he is a subchapter S-corporation or if he is not incorporated at all, income that he earns from his business will be taxed to him, not you. He needs to get an address for his business, even if it is a post office box so as to not use your home address.

How will his business affect you? I don't see any connection (I assume he is doing whatever it is that is legal) between you owing a home and his business. However, if you don't have good feelings about this then he needs to go. Tell him to get out of your home.
