Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

If a mortgage servicer collects money for 11 years on a paid note and the lender says they never received the money from it .The bank the servicer says they sent the money to also says they haven't received any money also . Do I have a legal right to know where the money went ?

Contact your bank. It will have a record of the payments and who accepted them.

I would contact an attorney in your area to go over this in detail. You may also want to contact the NC Commissioner of Banks and possibly file a complaint.
