in North Carolina, can landowners adult son "trespass" on leased property at will?

If I understand your question correctly, a couple owns a home that they lease to someone else. Their adult son wishes to go on the property as he sees fit. If this is the case, it is trespassing and he has no right to be there and could be arrested. If any fact is different, my answer would change.
