If you put a permanent dwelling on someone else's land even though you pay the taxes. Does that dwelling belong to landowner?

When a permanent building is affixed to land, the landowner is automatically the owner of the property unless there is a special provision in the deed that makes the home the property of another. Who pays the taxes would not make a difference.
