Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

real Estate Commissions

i am a RE broker in New York. I have signed a marketing agreement with a developer in NC. i will be using a network of brokers in NC to do the sales. Do I need to licensed in NC as a RE Broker, or can the developer pay me as their marketing agent as long as I am licensed in NY?
