Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

I had some home improvement done and the person I have it with claimed they took out insurance on my property without my seeing a insurance copy of the insurance. Now that I have paid what I owed they they said I am going to have to pay what they have paid in the insurance. Can you tell me if this is legal and am I going to have to pay this insurance to which I have never seen the policy?

Without knowing all the details, this question can't be answered as it pertains to you.

Generally, if you never agreed to pay for his insurance and you never signed anything agreeing to pay for it, I don't think he would have a good case.

You should consult an attorney in your area with all the facts and papers.
