Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

We recently signed a contract to purchase a home - in the contract I asked for the refrigerator - it matched the other appliances. The seller and their bank agreed to my offer. Now the refrigerator is gone. My real estate agent said they leased it and it wasn't theirs - am I entitled to any compensations?

Did the seller not know that the refrigerator was leased when you asked for it? Did you close yet? Read the contract, but I think they are in breach. They can reduce the purchase price by the cost of the refrigerator or they can give you money back that would cover the costs of the refrigerator.
