Seller did not disclose water in basement . Is there a statute of limitations?

You should consult with a real estate attorney if you think you have claims, but the statute of limitations is 3 years for this type of claim. The statute runs from when you learned or should have known of the problem. One argument is that you should have gotten a home inspection...which I recommend with every home purchase to discover this problem.
