Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

Termination of NC real estate contract

We have a buyer/agent that is trying to terminate a real estate contract and believes he can unilaterally terminate without the approval of the sellers. He wants to purchase another property and all provisions of the contract were complied with by the sellers. Loan approval, appraisal, repairs completed and agreed upon. The termination is a breach in the eyes of the sellers.

Can the buyer unilaterally terminate the contract?

Re: Termination of NC real estate contract

Sellers should consult with an attorney. This is a fact specific question. Cannot be answered without a review of the contract, etc.
