Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

I am transferring ownership of a home in North Carolina to the new owner who lives in NC. I am a resident of Colorado. Which states form should I use and will NC accept my signature notarized in Colorado?

A NC attorney should handle the closing. He or she can prepare the documents for you or you can hire your own attorney to prepare the deed, lien waiver and other necessary forms. NC law controls.

NC will accept a signature notarized properly in Colorado.
