Legal Question in Real Estate Law in North Carolina

I have a UCC lein on my home from a creditor and it is preventing me from being able to refinance my home. How can I get this removed? The lein does not have my full legal name on the document just my first and last name. I have heard that this lein is not properly filed because it lacks my full name. Any advice on what to do.
