Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
72 in a 60 mph zone
I recently got a ticket in Scotland County for going 72 in a 60 mph zone. I was told by a friend that I had to have a lawyer to use a prayer for judgement. I haven't had a ticket in over 15 yrs., do I really have to get a lawyer to get a prayer for judgement or could I ask for it myself

Some counties might give you a better deal if you have a lawyer - I don't know.
You probably don't need a lawyer to ask for a prayer for judgment or get a reduction to 9 over. You don't necessarily want to use a prayer for judgment though.
