Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
Difference between DMV Points and Insurance Points
What is the difference between DMV points and Insurance points and what are the consequences of both of them? Also, how do i go about finding out if anyone in my insurance policy has used a PJC recently? I am on the same policy as my parents and they are not 100% certain if their lawyer used a PJC for their previous ticket.
Thanks!

Re: Difference between DMV Points and Insurance Points
You go to DMV and pull everyone's driving records.
Insurance points determine how much your insurance will go up. Driver's license points determine whether you will keep your license (if you accumulate too many points in certain periods, your license can be suspended)
