Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
Fighting an unjust speeding ticket
To be as brief as possible, i received a speeding ticket in NC (I live in Idaho) from a state trooper. The ticket was for 60 in a 45. However, I never went above 50 mph and I know for a fact that he didn't radar me (it was impossible from where he was). When the trooper pulled me over he made it apparent that he was giving me the speeding ticket because I am a young man and I drive a very fast sports car (Subaru STi). He even said to me ''If you can afford to drive a car like this, you can afford to pay some speeding tickets.'' Is there any way to have the ticket nullified without having to go all the way across the country to fight it? I'm not interested in pressing charges against the trooper (I don't have the time), I just want to get rid of the unjust speeding ticket.
Thanks in advance!

Re: Fighting an unjust speeding ticket
I don't know of a way to plead not guilty and fight it without showing up. At the very least, you can hire an attorney in the County who could at least get this reduced or knocked down to a lesser charge.
