Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
Using a prayer for judgement
I got a speeding ticket for going 80 in a 60mph work zone. I plan on using a prayer for judgement. If I use it, does that mean I still have to pay court costs? I just won't get points on my license and insurance? Is that right?

You always pay court costs unless ticket is dismissed.

IF, the judge allows you to use this plea, it his/her discretion. I would recommend you pay an attorney who practices in that court on a daily basis. They will have a good relationship with the Court and will have a better chance to get the PJC.
Remember PJC is not guaranteed.
you are "Praying" to the court!
