Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

Prayer for Judgement Help

I just got a ticket for doing 35 over and I need to know what the laws are with a PJC. The officer said that he didnt know my record but as long as my record is good then I should be fine as long as I ask the DA for help. But didnt think to ask the officer about a PJC on this ticket. I havent been pulled in over 3 years close to 4 years. Can anyone help with some advice?

Re: Prayer for Judgement Help

You can have one PJC on your HOUSEHOLD's policy per three years - otherwise your insurance will go up.

If you were going 35 miles per hour over the speed limit (as in 90 in a 55), it really can depend on the county. Some DAs will not have much discretion and Judges may not want to give a PJC either. You might want to consider talking with an attorney in your County.
