Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

speeding out of state

I live in NJ and got a speeding ticket in NC. Should I go to the mandatory court date or should I have a lawyer represent me?

Re: speeding out of state

You should have a lawyer represent you. If the charge is fairly simple, it will save you money anyway b/c you wouldn't have to appear in court and travel from NJ. If the charge is more complex, then you certainly should get a lawyer.
