Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

speeding ticket

Jeffrey--name removed--last year was United states Marine. Rec'd a speeding ticket 20 miles over. was stationed at camp Lajune. forgot about ticket. didn't get paid. now went to renew license and was told about it. trying to pay, but they say i have to get open and on schedule. i am able to pay, just need to know how, where and how much. My current job requires a license and if i don't get it asap, i will lose my job. please hlep. Thank you sincerely.

You need to know which County (and state) the ticket was issued. Also, please do not pay a ticket that is 20 miles per hour over - he is liable to lose his license. Hire an attorney in that County, have him/her reset the ticket to a new court date and plead to a lesser charge.
