Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
Speeding Ticket
I recently got a speeding ticket for a 80 in a 70 in North Carolina. I would like to plead not guilty but I am an out of state resident and I will not be able to appear in court. I would like to know if it is possible to do this by mail and if so how.

Re: Speeding Ticket
Your only options are to appear in court yourself or hire an attorney to appear in your absence. You cannot mail in a ticket unless it tells you so on the back of the ticket.
