Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
I have just stumbled across the so called "right to travel" arguments that are popular on Youtube, stating that requiring a driver's license of a "traveler" is an unconstitutional infringement on that common law and constitutional right. Is there any substance to this argument? Thanks very much for your time.

No. The argument on the other side of this is driving is a "privilege" not a right. You have the right to travel - you can walk, taxi, bicycle, go by trains or plane or take the bus. You do not have a right to drive. You may only drive if the state allows you to drive by virtue of having a valid driver's license Internet is a wonderful tool but any fool with a little computer savvy can post anything on YouTube. Don't believe everything you see/read there.
