Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina

First time offender

I was driving from CT and was pulled over in North Hampton County, NC, for doing 90 in a 70 mph zone. When the officer pulled me over he approached the car and my--name removed--sister popped up out the back seat from under a comforter and pillows. The officer said she wasnt wearing here safety belt, but she was! Anyways I didnt receive a ticket I received a court date and I live in Tampa, Florida. Whats the best thing for me to do? I had a clean driving record now its ruinned. Is there anyway of saving it?

You would need to get an attorney in North Hampton County and he/she could probably get the ticket reduced. 90 in a 70 is the more serious charge.
