Legal Question in Traffic Law in North Carolina
WHile visiting in NC (I am a FL resident) I received a traffic citation for an illegal U-turn. Fine is $125.
I rec'd several solicitations for legal assistance, lots of advice about "not just paying the fine, insurance will be affected", etc.. I have a spotless traffic record at this point. Should I hire an attorney to represent me, especially since I am out of state? I want to minimize the insurance impact as much as possible.
