Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina
I have a durable power of attorney chosen and an advance health care directive. Do I still need an executor to oversee my burial and disbursements of personal property? I have very little.
Thanks.

Durable powers of attorney are only people who are alive. Powers of attorney end at death. Yes, you still need a will naming a personal representative.
