Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

my father recently passed away and i have question not sure if he has will . my questions are my father owned the family home with his siblings he has 1/3 interest does his owner ship end since he passed away , also he had a bank acct in which when he opening it he palce my uncle name on it and i was wondering id my uncle is entitled to money in bank acct

It depends on the language of the deed. If he owned the property as joint tenants with right of survivorship then the property passes to the other owners. Otherwise, it should go to his heirs.
