You leave out much information. If your father's estate was a "partner" then how can the property be sold without your knowledge? In NC, property passes as of the moment of death to the heirs. However, the property cannot be sold in less than 2 years unless the personal representative is made party to the sale. However, the personal representative does not own the property - you do. Your signature is required if you were one of the heirs.
