Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

My husband of 43 yrs has had a stroke and I have Durable POA, do I also need a Medical POA or will this Durable be good enough.

I also have a 89 year old mother that lives with me and I alos have a Durable POA on her, the same applies to her, do I need to get another POA.

You need a health care poa to make health care decisions. However, the person must be competent to sign these documents.
