Can I make my death records non public? When I die, I would like my records not availa le to the general public, is that possible?

Its called a trust. You still need a will, but a special will called a pourover will accompanies a trust.

Trusts are private documents and seldom get filed with the court unless there is some kind of litigation involving the trust.

Whether you need a trust or not depends on your assets and circumstances. Why do you want to keep the records private? Do you fear a possible will contest by a child or disgruntled relative?

Things can be done to minimize that, but if your assets justify it, then a revocable living trust may be the answer.
