We have moved from NJ to NC, are NJ wills valid in NC ?

It depends. Assuming that the NJ wills were properly done by an atorney and witnessed and notarized, they should be valid in NC. Wills in NC must be witnessed by two individuals who are not beneficiaries under the will and the will should be notarized.

Its a good idea though to get your NJ will re-evaluated by an NC attorney.
