Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

mutual will

I am married. But the adult children are mine not his. If we both die is there a way to seperate our estates on a mutual will form that we purchase online?

Re: mutual will

I would never recommend using on-line forms unless you have a clear understanding of the various laws concerning wills and estate administration as well as execution.

As far as your question, if you are going to have different ways of distributing your estates, then you would obviously need to have different provisions in each will.

Also just so you are clear, you both need separate wills, even if you had identical provisions.
