Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

If you have two people as power of attorneys and the first is not around or can get in touch with can the 2nd person do what needs to be done? And is it wise to have two people in charge of a power of attorney?

I would have to see the power of attorney to see how it is worded. Is it either A or B can serve as agent or is it A and B? What does the power of attorney say about the inability of someone to act as agent?

Its just my opinion, and it depends on the circumstances of each case and the people involved, but in general, its not wise to have 2 people be power of attorney at the same time. I believe that there can only be one captain of the ship and its only when the first person resigns or dies or the authority is revoked by the principal that the second person takes over.

If you want to email me the POA, I'd be happy to look it over for you.
