If a person resides in one county and owns property in another,
at the time of their death, in what county do trustees fill for transfer of title of that property?

The answer is that trustees file in all counties where the deceased owned real property. If the deceased just lived in a county and did not own real property there, then no affidavit of succession would be filed at the register of deeds in the county where the person lived. However, an estate may need probated in the county where the person resided.
