Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

Power of Attorney

My daughter is moving from NY to NC in June. Her car is titled in my name and has a lien. I called the NCDMV and I have to sign for registration and insurance. I cannot be there. Can I simply make give her power of attorney to sign for me? If so, how do I go about doing it quickly and as easily as possible? Thank you.

Re: Power of Attorney

Call NCDMV and explain the problem. They should have a form of POA or at least explain what it should say. If there is no specific form, contact me and I can provide a Limited POA for this purpose and instructions on how it should be completed. Fee would be $25.00.
