Legal Question in Wills and Trusts in North Carolina

When doing a power of attorney both the healthcare and general POA would printing the forms off the internet and getting them notarized be legal or would I have to see a lawyer for them to be legal?

No. You can certainly get the forms from the internet. However, if you do, I strongly recommend that you use the NC forms if this is for you or someone else in NC.

I would also carefully review the financial POAform as you have to do some editing as is appropriate to your situation.

The Healthcare POA and living will must be witnessed by 2 people and notarized. The general financial POA only has to be signed by you (or whoever is making it) and notarized.
