Preparing your own will

Is preparing your own simple will and living trust valid and can it then be certified at the register of deeds?

Wills prepared by yourself can be valid. However, an attorney generally adds value and expertise to the process. If you make a mistake, the will may not conform to your intent and if you do not understand and/or follow the statutes, the will may be executed incorrectly.
