Wills

is it necessary to have a new will when moving from Texas to North Carolina? Includes Directive to Physicians, Medical Power of Attorney, and Statutory Durable Power of Attorney. No property in NC.

You probably want to have the will checked out to make sure it meets all the statutory requirements. Also, you may want to get new powers of attorney that are more in line with NC so that providers are familiar with it. Again, it would still need to be reviewed to see if it has all the necessary formalities for execution, etc.
