Confidentiality

Is your employer alowed to discuss with other employee's or make comments about one when they have been hurt on the job and the doctor has removed them from work for any amount of time?

In general, there is no prohibition on mere talk. However, statements by company management may be admissible in court. Some employers are not aware of the NC Retaliatory Employment Discrimination Act (REDA) which may apply if the injured worker's job is terminated.
