Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

what now ????

i fell down 15 concrete steps at work the steps were being worked on they were jagged and places missing i was knocked uncousious and sent to the er and was told i was very cold( hyperclsemic?) they took x-rays and sent me to another hospital because i couldnt feel my legs they sent me home with a boot on my leg and on my arm in which time 3 days later i couldnt walk and had horrible headaches so i went to the er i was admitted my right side of my face was black i had a seziure while i was there and they did a eeg and it came back saying monderatly swollen since i have been told i have fibromyalgia they said all the other stuff came back fine but when w/c sent me to a 2nd opion doc he said i had the symtems for fibro and need pt but 2wks later i got the report and he says he thinks i am lying about everything and the doc in the 2nd hospital said i would move when no one was watching yeah right now the neuro and my gp who said i had fibro arnt for sure anymore then just last week my left leg that i hurt and cont. to hurt swelled up and had purple reddish blisters with pus comming out they said it was group b strep its not healing but they say it wasnt due to my injury so i just dont know how the proccess works or what to do

You need to consult an experienced attorney quickly for a detailed review of your claim.

In short, you at least need to obtain a second opinion of your own. You also need to read the Bulletin at the NC Industrial Commission for a simple review of how the system works. Make sure you have also filed form 18 with the NCIC within two years of your date of injury. You can link to the NCIC website from our site at ncworkcomp.com.
