hospital payments
Am I responsible for the unpaid portion of a medical bill after worker's compensationhas paid the hospital?

No. It is a misdemeanor for them to bill you for medical care in an accepted comp claim. NCGS 97-90
They are limited to the Industrial Commission fee schedule. Send the bill to the comp adjuster. Keep a copy of everything.
