YES!

You might have some trouble if your initial medicals do not indicate the claim is work-related, and/or if no immediate report of injury was made to your employer, but you can still file the claim. You have two years from the injury date to file a Form 18 with the North Carolina Industrial Commission. A link to their site can be found on our site at ncworkcomp.com. Go ahead and get a Bulletin and Form 33 while you are on the site as well. Obviously, contacting an experienced attorney regarding your case would also be worth the effort. Good luck!

Generally, yes if the employer was aware of the injury and that it was on the job. File form 18 with the Industrial Commission ASAP.
