work related stress and slander

Can I file for workmans comp due to slander and stress at my place of employment? I have been with this company for 20 years and have never had the problems that are occuring at this time.

Yes, you can file a claim (Form 18). HOWEVER,

very few mental-mental claims such as yours have been paid because of a Supreme Court decision. Also, damages in workers' comp cases are limited to lost time from work and permanent impairment. No recovery is available for physical pain or mental suffering.

Consider other types of labor and employment law remedies.
