Legal Question in Workers Comp in North Carolina

I got hurt at my job 2 and a half years ago I just got a letter from my blue cross insurence company stating that I was teramanted from my job.

I take many antidepressants caused from being bedridden from my injury at work. now I cant aford to get my meds. Please help me! Is this possable ,can they do this?

I do have a lawyer but told me to buy local insur. but they want to carge me 250.00 a month I only get pain 500.00 a week from workers comp. but with bills and evryday living it is inpossable. I have been without my depresssion meds for 3 days and not doing to good. do I have any rights? sorry about the blabbering but I have been back and forth for 2.5 years Im so frusterated.

Re: workers comp.

Talk to your lawyer. Ask about possible FMLA.

If your depression was caused or aggravated by your injury, you may be able to get it covered by workers' comp. Usually requires a hearing.

You may also be eligible for Social Security Disability benefits.
