Re: Workers Comp Law

In Georgia, an employer with 3 or more employees is required to provide worker's compensation to its employees injured on the job. It matters not whether the employer is a corporation. The failure to provide such benefits can subject the employer to penalties, both civil and in some cases criminal.

I can't speak to the requirements of North Carolina, but I am sure there are similar such requirements and that there is recognized no difference in the requirements for employers organized as a corporation.
