worker`s comp law in n.c.
my husband injured his arm at work while doing his everyday job doctor said he has torn a tendon which is now sitting in his bicep w.c. for the company he works for says the he dosent have a claim according to n.c. law. is there anything we can do?

You need to locate in the facts, if possible, an "injury by accident", or his case will not be compensable. Most any interruption of the normal work routine will do the job. The most common are slips, trips or falls. Others may be covering a co-worker's job, new speeds, new weights, something different than the customary and ordinary way the job is usually performed.
In any event, if he intends to pursue the case, he needs to file a Form 18 with the NC Industrial Commission within 2 years of his injury date.
