Legal Question in Appeals and Writs in North Dakota

im going to boot camp aug 2. But my uncle just got cancer and I want to be there for him like he was for me growing up any way for me to leagaly make them let me post pone cuz they are saying I cant. Please help me he was like a father to me.

I sympathize with your plight, but the law is on the camp's side. If you mean an actual military boot camp, then the military does not have to accommodate you. If you mean a prison-type boot camp then the same logic applies.

I'm afraid the law still won't help you if it's a private boot camp you are paying to attend: a breach of contract is still a breach even if you have really good reasons for it. You probably could not be forced to attend, but you would still have to pay the fees called for in your agreement.

Whatever type of camp it may be, you can try to negotiate different terms. If you and the other side can reach an agreement, great. But the other side does not have to budge.

I'm sorry I can't be more encouraging, especially under the circumstances.
