Telephone Recording
Is it legal for an employment agencies to record telephone converations, without your knowledge, in regards to acceptance of a job offer. If so, can that taped conversation be used against you in court.

A party in california can only tape your conversation if they advise you and get your consent to do so, or it is a criminal offense as well as a civil offense. If you have given permission to record, it can be used against you. Even if you did not give permission, there are categories wherein it can be used against you, to prevent fraud, or other bad things from happening.
