Legal Question in Business Law in North Dakota
Trouble with a car dealership
My husband and I purchased a Van from a dealership, he signed all the paperwork and we paid the down payment. Now a month and a half later when the van is registered in his name the dealership is calling and saying that now we have to have a co-signer or bring the van back to them. Can they do this? The reason we went through this dealership is because they guarantee you a loan with no co-signer whether you have no pays, slow pays, repos or bankruptcy on your record. after a month and a half can they just change their minds like that? After we signed the loan contract and the van is now registered to my husband?
