Loan default

My daughter and boyfriend broke up, they have a loan between them, each agreed to pay half,and keep their cars, ex isn't keeping his part of bargin, bank is after my daughter to pay the whole loan amount, while ex still drives his car, what can be done to get loan split, or get ex to pay his share

Have her negotiate a deal to reduce her obligation in exchange for providing info sufficient to allow lender to repo his car to satisfy his share of loan.
